The accused has also been committed for trial to Sydney
Quarter Sessions and acquitted on charges of perjury and assault and robbery, and also charged with various offences under
the Vagrancy Act, and discharged during the past 12 years. She
has br,en a close companion and harbourer of thieves and opium
smugglers, and boasts of having made a considerable sum of
money by such means.
She has also on many occasions gone
bail for criminals and given evidence for them, endeavouring
to prove an alibi, particulars of which the detectives are
collecting and concerning which a further report will be sub__
mitted.
