at Michael lvIcliale with intent to murder. He was not that
charged with the Eveleigh matter. He was before the

about three time before this. Altogether he was before the
Court e or 7 times. He was charged with shooting at
Cpnstable Hooper on the let July. He was first befo
re the
Court on the lath Junta. Hooper and I had charge of
the
case - a number of Detectives were co nnected with the
charges against Freeman but Hooper and I loolied after
him
have no notes of what took place that day but ala
trusting entirely to my memory.
I have often seen
accused at the Central Police Court and have spoken to
her before and I beliel,e she has previously argued
with me
about cases,
I did not notice any marks or cuts on her face when I
saw her on the lat July. There was a ;:larrl on the mouth
but I thin it was healed up.
on subsequent occasions I saw accused bringing food
to the Central Police Station. She was 16aking after
Freeman.
I remember when the Eveleigh trial was on, I had

on a eprev!.ous occasion and they said the 5th June. Tr took
statelae4ts from them at the Darlinghurst Court during
the trial of Freeman and others for the Eveleigh robbery.
They told me they were with Freeman and Rvan between U.3 0
and 10 p,m. on the 5th July in an hotel at the corner of
Liverpool and Castlereagh Streets.
I do not know a man named Dar key Davis.
