sworn states:-
I am a Constable of police stationed at No. 1.
In July last I was in charge of the cells at the Central
Police Station.

I saw the defendant there on several
6 or 7 times altogether.

She asked to see prisoner Freeman. She
never asked meto see a prisoner named Ryan "
I cannot
say one what dates these conversations took place but it
was in the early part of :M.
X-ed by accused:- I remember you taking Freeman his dinner,
If I remember rightly you then had a cut lip. Freeman did
not put his photo under the cell door to you in my presence
On one occasion I went with you to his cell when you took
him some dinner, I cannot say what time this was. I rem
ber you coming into the Station after Freeman had had
his dinner and had gone back into Court. it would be
somewhere after two oclock when you were there then.
I beard you tell Driscoll that day that you had
teen very bad in bed, I cannot say what datelthis was.
I
cannot say if it was about the 10th July when I
saw you with the cut 11p.
I cannot say if you were at the Central Police
Station on the 1st July.
Freeman and Twiss and Tatham
were at the Station on the days you were there.
