. The Parliament of New South Wales website. Contains
historical and current information about the Parliament, listing of current and past
members, various leaflets about Parliament and Parliamentary procedures, an archives
section which includes listings of the pre Responsible Government records as well as
considerable information about post-1855 archives; etc.
. A website designed
by the New South Wales Department of Education and Training to inform the public in
general, and schools in particular, about the NSW constitution and its relevance to
contemporary society. The website examines six issues in the public domain that are
based on the NSW Constitution. These include the dismissal of Jack Lang ("The Role of
the Premier") and the Upper House quota system ("The Voting System").
The State Electoral Office website. It includes information about
electorate districts, the electoral process, enrolling and voting, and election results. Also
included are an overview of the state electoral system and information about state
elections, referenda including referendum results, the Legislative Assembly and the
Legislative Council, and a history of electoral development in New South Wales. It
provides links to the website of Parliament and to relevant NSW electoral legislation.
Website of the Australian Women's Archives project. It
includes a searchable-on-line Register of the Archives Project which is a growing source
of biographical data about Australian women and their organisations, with hyper-links to
their websites, and to the archival repositories where their records are held. As well,
there are also (as at May 2005) six virtual on-line exhibitions which recognise particular
groups of women, such as those who received recognition through the former Imperial
Honours system, and another recognizing the contribution Australian service women
have made.
