Box [4/978] includes suggestions lodged with the Commission
prior to publication of the provisional scheme; a large file of
objections etc lodged since preliminary proposals of the
Commissioners were first indicated to Members of Parliaments and
others on taking evidence: and in response to the subsequent
publication of boundaries, and exhibition of maps of the
provisional scheme; and, descriptions of the preliminary
distribution (including printer's proofs, and a copy of the
provisional scheme as published in the Government Gazette of
30 March 1912).
Box [4/979] includes printed notice in the Government Gazette of
30 March 1912 of the proposed new Electoral Districts (the
provisional or preliminary scheme of distribution); copies of the
final report of the Commissioners, as printed after presentation to
the Governor, 10 May 1912; copies of the Supplement to the
Government Gazette of 14 May 1912 containing a copy of the final
report of the Commissioners; copies of names and boundaries of
the new Electoral Districts, the Schedule referred to in the Report
of 10 May 1912; two copies of Synopsis of voting on 14 October
1910 General Election (table showing the number of electors upon
the Roll for each electorate, the number of votes recorded and the
percentage of votes recorded to the number on the Roll); copies of
the Police Collection 1911 — forming basis of distribution — and
which became Rolls prior to the final adoption of Scheme; proofs
of the Government Gazette notice of 6 December 1911 concerning
the Regulation made under authority of the Parliamentary
Electorates and Elections Act, 1902, re form and manner in which
the Electoral District Commissioners shall notify any proposed
alteration of an Electoral District.
Box [5/5241] contains multiple copies of, what is described by the
Commission as, the printed Police Collection 1911 — forming basis
of distribution — and which became Rolls prior to the final
adoption of Scheme.
Bundle [5/5237.2] comprises: papers relating to the appointment
of the three Electoral Districts Commissioners, including the
Commission of 4 August 1911 appointing Walter Edmunds,
Frederick Albert Coghlan, and John Burt Trivett Commissioners
and copies of the Government Gazette of 4 August 1911 notifying
their appointment; copy of the Schedule giving the names and
boundaries of the new Electoral Districts, referred to in the Report
of 10 May 1912; copies of requisitions for printing and stationery;
newspaper cuttings concerning the redistribution; and
correspondence relating to administrative and operational matters
(such as population statistics for New South Wales, exhibition of
electoral maps and advertising).

Election papers, 1912
These papers relate to various electoral matters, many of which
are fairly routine.
Included are: applications for new polling places; declarations of
Returning Officers; complaints against Returning Officers;
applications for appointment as Poll Clerk; enrolments; enquiries
from electors about their enrolment status and electoral matters;
electoral claims; requests for figures of the numbers of electors,
