1932, 1935, 1938, 1941, 1944, 1947, 1950, 1953 and 1956.

These maps show existing boundaries and proposed boundaries of
electorates. In some cases the population of electorates and places
within them are given.

This bundle contains: Electoral list for Darling, 1903-04; Electoral
list of males, 1905 and Electoral list of females, 1906; Brewarrina
population return 31 December 1914; electoral map (Western New
South Wales) 1919; and, Electoral rolls for Sturt (Brewarrina)
1922 and for Namoi 1927.

Main series of letters received — 1907 Receipts for writs

This includes a printed copy of the Parliamentary Electorates and
Elections Act, 1902 List of Returning Officers for State Elections,
dated 1 August 1907.
Mainly comprises letters and telegrams from Returning Officers
acknowledging the receipt of writs of election (in August 1907).
However, there are also other papers which relate to the
appointment of substitute Returning Officers, many enclosing their
declarations; and to Returning Officers acknowledging receipt of
printed forms for Returning Officer and substitute Returning
Officer appointments.
There is also a separate bundle of papers concerning vouchers in
connection with the 1907 Election for the Ashburnham Electoral
District, dated 1907-08. These relate to the return of certain
expenses of the Deputy Returning Officer James Atkins and of the
balance of the election advance. Included are papers relating to
queried expenses as well as explanations from the Returning
Officer about these.
Common election expenses included: the hire of polling places;
fees for substitute Returning Officers, Deputy Returning Officers,
Poll Clerks, and clerical assistance; refreshments; travelling
expenses; booths - rent, cleaning etc; freight and cartage of ballot
boxes; advertising; stamps and telegrams; and, the Returning
Officer's personal expenses (for honorarium and sundries).
