Wales in connection with the vote to be taken on the draft Bill

by the Australasian Federal Convention at Melbourne on
16 March 1898 (Richard Cornelius Critchett Walker, Principal
Under Secretary, appointed as Returning Officer for the Colony
of New South Wales)
• M20492: issue of writ for the Federal Referendum Election to be
held on 3 June 1898 (including copy of the writ of election)
• M20494: Regulation prescribing stamp for marking electors'
rights and ballot papers under the Australasian Federation
Enabling Act, 1895 and the Amendment Act of 1897
• M20496: appointment of 3 June 1898, the day fixed for the
Federal Referendum, as a Public Holiday throughout the Colony
• M20500: Critchett Walker as the Returning Officer for the
Colony of New South Wales, returning the writ of election with
his report endorsed thereon, giving the result of the polling in
connection with the submission to the electors of New South
Wales of the Federal Constitution, framed by the Australasian

1898, with its endorsement of 20 June 1898 about the results
