The microfilming of various records of Australian interest, particularly in the Public Record
Office, now National Archives (United Kingdom), London, is a continuing project of the major
Australian libraries.
The microfilms from the Australian Joint Copying Project [AJCP] are available at the Mitchell
Library, State Library of New South Wales, Sydney, the National Library, Canberra, and
various State and University Libraries. Published guides to the AJCP may also be consulted.
The State Records has purchased a small number of the films available. Whenever a copy is
held it is noted in this Appendix.
