Spithead
This vessel was wrecked when it
struck an iceberg during its voyage
to Australia. Twenty convict
survivors were brought from the
Cape of Good Hope to Port Jackson
in June 1790 on the Neptune and
the Scarborough. There is a list of
the convicts who embarked on the
Guardian on Reel 87 H.O. 11/1
p.23.

[SZ115] Fiche 620 only contains
three names. A contemporary
memo in [SZ115] notes that 'This
is the only Official List of the Lady
Juliana, – the Indents and other
Lists are supposed to have been
lost or Mislaid in Capt. Collins's
Office'. The Mitchell Library holds a
copy of a list of the Lady Juliana,
prepared by T.D. Mutch, at ML ref:
